I know it’s a lot to read, bear with me !
Hey! Im so glad you are interested! Well first things first a little about me: My name is Shannon Peavy. I am engaged with a 5 year old daughter. I love to read and socialize but I have been so wrapped up in my daughter my fiancé and work that I forgot to make friends. I am starting a book club for three reasons:

To start friendships between not just mothers but the children as well

To give moms a small break in their busy lives
-
To keep busy moms sane by enjoying the company of other established mothers.
What the club will consist of:

Book Reading- I understand how busy mothers are, which is why any book that we read will be voted on by the group and given ample amount of time to read it.

Crafts- I am a huge fan of Do It Yourself projects. It’s a fun way to get relaxed and blow off steam. I plan on having a DIY project to do most of the meetings

Any artistic passions will displayed such as singers, writers, artists. If you want to Display your skills to the group by all means do such!

Drink Wine- This is completely up to you. If you wish to drink I have glasses if not then other beverages will be provided.

Many other things that we as a group will come up with as we go.
The first meeting will be held at the Hickory Hollow Community Center Park. This day will be to get to know each other while allowing the children to play their hearts out. Also to compare schedules so our meetings are in the best interest of everyone. 2-4 times out of the month we will meet at my house or if someone else wants to host that is good as well. 1-2 times we will meet at the Hickory Hollow library. They have miniature computers for children to enjoy (ABC-Mouse.com). Also as seen on the flyer I do require a $10.00 pay each month from each member just to help with the cost of the snacks for us and the children, the DIYs, and of course the wine.
Our children:

My daughter has a fairly large room with a bathroom that is children safe. She will have toys and crafts for children to enjoy.

There will be snacks provided for the little ones, unless the parents choose to bring their own.

They will also have kid friendly movies playing with games for both boys and girls.
I am aiming for 5 people max (excluding me) to be in the club. I have always wanted to be a part of a book club but could never find one in Nashville. So I decided to create my own! I plan on having the first meeting on March 11th (Saturday). That way I can have 5 Ideal people that are serious about having some fun. AND ONCE EVERY 2 MONTHS WE WILL HAVE A GIRLS NIGHT OUT AND/OR A DATE NIGHT WHERE WE ALL BRING OUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER OUT TO EAT

THE ONLY FEE I REQUIRE IS $10.00 AT THE FIRST MEETING OF EVERY MONTH.

Well how do I start? I am just an average woman that has a husband, a daughter, a job and bills! I looked up one day and realized that out of my passion to read and write I felt that I could create a book club! I mean why not? I know women love to read, love to drink wine and wouldn't mind a few arts and crafts activities, all wile your child is playing in the next room.
So I came up with WWW_Book Club. Where women can relax and have a little fun with out the stress of watching children. I hope you choose to join! One day i hope to create a bond where we all take trips and have lot of fun!!
